Özet

AMAÇ: Bu çalışma, en az 6 aydır kalp hastalığı nedeniyle tedavi gören kadınların evlilik doyumu ve eş desteğini etkileyen faktörleri belirlemek amacıyla, tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. YÖNTEM: Çalışmanın örneklemini, Kasım 2018- Ocak 2019 tarihleri arasında, Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi Kartal Koşuyolu Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesi Kardiyoloji ve Kalp Damar Cerrahisi servisleri ve polikliniklerine başvuran 297 hasta oluşturmuştur. Veriler, tanımlayıcı veri formu, Evlilik Yaşamı Ölçeği (EYÖ) Eş Desteği Ölçeği (EDÖ) ile elde edilmiştir. BULGULAR: Katılımcıların %11,8’i hastalığının günlük işlerini yerine getirmesine engel olmadığını, %19,9’u psikolojik destek aldığını ve %36’sı psikolojik desteğe ihtiyacı olduğunu ifade etmiştir. Katılımcıların EYÖ ile EDÖ puan ortalaması arasında pozitif yönde yüksek düzeyde ilişki saptanmıştır (p<0,01). Eşi ile ilişkisinin nasıl olduğu ve psikolojik desteğe ihtiyacı olduğunu düşünme durumunun EYÖ ve EDÖ puanının anlamlı bir yordayıcısıdır. SONUÇ: Kalp hastası kadınların günlük işlerini yerine getirmekte büyük desteğe ihtiyaçları vardır. Çevrelerinden aldıkları destek tedavi süreçlerini olumlu yönde etkilemektedir.

Abstract

AIM: This study was carried out as a descriptive study to determine the factors affecting the marital satisfactioon and spousal support of women who had been treated for heart disease for at least 6 months. METHODS: The sample of the study consisted of 297 patients who were admitted to the health Sciences University Kartal Koşuyolu Training and Research Hospital Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery departments and polyclinics. These data were obtained by the Identity Questionnaire , Marriage Life Scale (MLS) and Spousal support scale (SSS). RESULTS: %11,8 of the participants stated that the disease didn’t prevent daily work % 19,9 reparted that they had psychological support and %36 needed psychological support. There was found a high positive correlation between the mean score of the participants Marriage Life Scale (MLS)and Spousal Support Scale (SSS) (p<0,01) The state of how was the relation ship with her spouse and her thinking that she needed psychological support were found to be a significant predictor of the MLS score and SSS score. CONCLUSION: Women with heart disease need great support in doing their daily works. The physical and social support that they receive from their environment positively affects their treatment processes.
