Bir Üniversite Hastanesinin Kliniklerinde Yatan Hastaların Toplu Beslenme Hizmetlerinden Beklentileri ve Memnuniyet Durumlarının Değerlendirilmesi

Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Genel Cerrahi ve Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji kliniklerinde, 3 gün ve üzeri sürede yatan, 150 hastanın toplu beslenme hizmetlerinden (TBH) memnuniyet durumlarını saptamaktır. Yöntem: Çalışma, kesitsel tipte olup, Ocak 2016-Mart 2016 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Veriler, demografik bilgiler ve TBH memnuniyet durumunu araştıran 31 soruluk bir anketle toplanmıştır. Verilerin karşılaştırılmasında Ki-kare testi kullanılmış, diğer veriler sayı (n) ve yüzde (%) olarak verilmiştir. Bulgular: Katılımcıların %44,6’sı kadın, %55,4’ü erkektir. Kişilerin yaş ortalaması 52,88±14,35’tir. Katılımcıların, kaldıkları kliniğe göre toplu beslenme hizmetlerinden beklentileri ve memnuniyet durumları incelendiğinde; klinik ile kahvaltıda sunulan besinlerin porsiyon miktarı ve yemeklerin zamanında servis edilmesi arasında istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Sonuç: Hastaneler, hizmet kalitesini ve hasta memnuniyetini artırmak için hastaların geri dönüşlerini mutlaka değerlendirmeli, her taburcu olan hastaya beslenme hizmetleriyle ilgili geri bildirim formu uygulanarak beklenti ve memnuniyet durumlarının değerlendirilmeli ve bu doğrultuda iyileştirmeler yapmayı hedeflemelidir.
Abstract
Objective: This study was conducted to determine the satisfaction status of 150 patients who were hospitalized in Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty Hospital General Surgery and Orthopedics and Traumatology clinics for 3 days and more, from the Food Service Systems (FSS). Method: The study is of cross-sectional type and was conducted between January 2016 and March 2016. The data were collected with a 31-question survey that investigated demographic information and TBI satisfaction. Chi-square test was used to compare data, other data were given as numbers (n) and percentages (%). Findings: The participants’ 44.6% are women and 55.4% are men. The average age of the participants is 52.88 ± 14.35 years. When the expectations and satisfaction of the participants from the food service systems according to the clinic they stayed in were examined; a statistically significant relationship was found between the clinics and the portion size of the food served for breakfast and the timely serving of the meals (p <0.05). Result: Hospitals should definitely evaluate the feedbacks of patients in order to increase the quality of food service and patient satisfaction. Each discharged patient should be aimed to evaluate their expectations and satisfaction situations by applying a questionnaire / scale on nutrition services and in order to make improvements in this direction.
