Glass formation in $Li _2O-Pr _2O _3-B _2O _3$ system

Abstract

By methods of physical‐chemical analysis (DTA, X‐ray diffraction, IR‐spectroscopy) phaseand glass formation in $Li _2O-Pr _2O _3-B _2O _3$system was researched in zone, which is enriched with boric anhydride. According to the results of three quasi binary sections: $Li2O.3B_2O_3 - P _{r2}O_3.3B _2O _3; Li2O.2B_ 2O_3- P _{r2}O_3-3B _2O _3; Li _2O.2B _2O _3,$ as well as materials about glass formation in binary $Li _2O- B _2O_3 - $ and $P _{r2}O_3- B _2O_3$ systems the zone of glass formation and glass transition diagram of $L _{i2}O-P _{r2}O _3-B _2O _3$ was defined.
