Özet
Bu araştırmada, Doğu Akdeniz Bölgesinin önemli bir akarsuyu olan Asi Nehri'nin, Hatay (Türkiye) sınırları içinde kalan bölümündeki Rotifer faunası, l yıl süreyle (1996 Eylül-1997 Ağustos) kalitatif yönden incelenmiştir. Örnekler, çalışma alanındaki 5 istasyondan aylık dönemlerde, göz açıklığı 60 um olan plankton kepçesi ile toplanmış ve %4'lük formaldehit ile korunmuştur. Araştırmada 31 tür ve 5 alt tür olmak üzere, toplam 36 Rotifer türü tanımlanmıştır. Lecane luna (O.F.Müller. 1776) ve Euchlanis dilatata Ehrenberg, 1832 çalışma süresince gözlenmiş, Brachionus quadridentatus Herman, 1783 ve Polyarthra dolichoptera Idelson, 1925 türleri ise 11 ay boyunca gözlenmiştir.
Abstract
In this study, Rotifera fauna of Asi (Orontes) River, one of the major river in Eastern Mediterranean part of Turkey, was investigated qualitatively at monthly intervals for a periodof one year (between September 1996 and August 1997). Samples were collected five different localities with 60 urn mesh sized plankton net and fixed with 4% formaldehid. 31 species and 5 subspecies, total 36 specimens were classified in the group Rotifera, Lecane luna (O.F.Müller. 1776) and Euchlanis dilatata Ehrenberg, 1832 were always present in the samples through the study. Brachionus quadridentatus Herman, 1783 and Polyarthradolichopteraldelson, 1925, were present during 11 months.
