Özet
Wegener granülomatozisi tipik olarak üst/alt solunum yolları ve böbreği tutan multisistem granülomatöz bir hastalıktır. Ayırıcı tanıda pek çok hastalık yer aldığından erken tanı genellikle güçtür. Hastalık yıllarca sınırlı kalabilir; ancak hızlı progresyon ile ölümcül de seyredebilir. Bu yazıda Wegener granülomatozisli 38 yaşında bir erkek hasta sunulmaktadır. Olguda böbrek tutulumu hızla yetmezliğe ilerlemesine rağmen, erken tanı ve tedavi nedeniyle remisyon elde edildi.
Abstract
Wegener's granulomatosis is a multisystem granulomatous vasculitis that typically involves the upper/ lower airways and the kidney. Early diagnosis is usually difficult since there is a wide spectrum of diseases to be differentiated. While the disease may stay limited for years, rapid progression and death may also occur. This report presents a 38-year-old male patient in whom early diagnosis and effective treatment enabled remission despite renal involvement rapidly progressing to failure.
