Sağlıklı Genç Erkeklerde Konjenital Renk Görme Kusuru Prevalansı

Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı genç sağlıklı Türk erkeklerinde konjenital renk görme kusuru prevalansını belirlemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışma, retrospektif olarak Ocak 2011- Haziran 2015 tarihleri arasında İzmir Asker Hastanesi Göz Hastalıkları Servisinde, sağlık kuruluna yönlendirilen 50.251 genç sağlıklı erkek olgular arasında yürütüldü. Renk görme muayenesi için Ishihara psödoizokromatik renk kartları kullanıldı. Her iki gözde simetrik sonuç alınan vakalar konjenital renk görme kusuru olarak değerlendirildi. Bulgular: 2786 olguda (%5.54) konjenital renk görme kusuru tespit edildi. Olgularin yaş ortalaması 21.02±2.12 yıl olarak bulundu. Konjenital renk görme kusuru saptanan olguların 1758'inde (%3.49) dötan defekt ve 1028'inde (%2.04) protan defekt saptandı. Sonuç: Geniş ve sağlıklı bir populasyonda yapılan bu çalışma ile elde edilen sonuçlar Avrupa, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ve Uzak Doğu ülkeleri ile uyumlu olarak değerlendirildi.
Abstract
Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of congenital color vision defect in the young healty Turkish males. Materials and Methods: This study was progressed among 50,251 young healty male cases directed to health committee in ophthalmology clinic of İzmir Military Hospital between January 2011-June 2015 retrospectively. Ishihara pseudoisochromatic color plates were used for color vision examination. Cases with symmetric results in both eyes were considered as congenital color vision defect. Results: Congenital color vision defect was detected in the 2786 cases (5.54%). Mean age of the subjects were 21.02±2.12 years. 1758 of the subjects (3.49%) were determined as deutan defect and 1028 of them (2.04%) were protan defect in all the congenital color vision defect cases. Conclusion: This study was performed in a large and healthy population. Our results were consistent with the Europe, United States of America and Far East countries.
