Özet

Derin duyu ve propriosepsiyon kaybı ile seyreden tüm eklem anomalileri nöroartropati olarak adlandırılır. Tekrarlayan travmalar kıkırdak yüzeyinde erozyon, skleroz, fraktür, fragmantasyon ve sonuç olarak eklem bütünlüğünün kaybına yol açar. Klinik bulgular duyu kaybının bulunduğu yere göre değişir. Burada literatür, nöroartropati etiyolojisinde diabetes mellitus ve syringomyeli bulunan üç olgu nedeniyle gözden geçirilmiştir.

Abstract

All joint abnormalities due to loss of deep sensation and proprioception are called as neuroarthropathy. Recurrent trauma leads to erosion of chondral surface, sclerosis, fractures, fragmentation and finally joint disorganization. Clinical findings depend on the region where the loss of sensation is present. Literature is reviewed due to three cases who have diabetes mellitus and syringomyeia as etiologic causes.
