Özet
Araştırmanın amacı Ankara'daki beş Ana-Çocuk Sağlığı ve Aile Planlaması Merkezine başvuran 15 yaş ve üzeri kadınların AiDS'in bulaşma ve korunma yollan konusundaki bilgi düzeyinin saptanmasıdır. Araştırma yüz yüze görüşme tekniği ile yapılmış ve anket formu kullanılmıştır. Anket formu, sosyo-demografik özellikleri ve AiDS'in bulaşma ve korunma yollarının neler olabileceği önceden önermeler şeklinde hazırlanmış sorulan içeren iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. İncelenenlerin % 96.0'sı cinsel ilişkiyle, % 93.4'ü kan ve organ nakliyle, % 84.4'ü anneden bebeğe anne kamında, % 55.7si emzirme yoluyla, % 91.5'i ortak enjektör kullanımıyla, % 51.8'i sivrisinek ısırmasıyla, % 7.6'sı el sıkışmayla, % 14.4'ü yanaktan öpüşmeyle, % 78.9u ortak tıraş bıçağı kullanmayla, % 32.2si hapşırma ya da öksürmeyle, % 78.2si AİDS hastası ile ortak diş fırçası kullanmayla, % 24.1'iAIDS hastası ile aynı yüzme havuzunda yüzme ve % 34.4'ü ortak banyo tuvalet kullanma ile AİDS bulaşır yanıtını vermiştir. Medeni duruma göre, AIDS'den korunma yöntemlerine yönelik önermelere doğru cevap verenler arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark saptanmıştır. Ayrıca bu önermelere doğru cevap verenler yaşla ve öğrenim durumu ile birlikte artmaktadır.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the knowledge about AIDS transmission and have to protect itself from AIDS of the women atg age 15 and over consulted to five mother-child health care and family planning centers in Ankara. The study was conducted with face to face interwiev technique and a questionnaire was applied to the subjects. The questionnaire had two parts including close ended questions about social and demographic characteristics and AIDS trarismision ways and its protection ways. 96.0% of the subjects said that AIDS is transmissible sexually, 93.4 % said that it is transmissible blood transfusion and organ transplantation. 84.4 % of the subjects said tahatAIDS can be transmitted to the fetus from mother in utero; 55.7 % answered that it is transmissible by common injector use, 51.8% by mosquito bite, 7.6 % by handshaking, 14.4 % said that AIDS can be transmitted by kissing on the cheek; 78.9 % by using same shaving knife, 32 % by coughing or sneezing. 78.2 % of the subjects answered that AIDS can be transmitted by using the same tooth brush with an AIDS patient, 24.1% by swimming in the same pool with someone who had AIDS, and, 34.4 % of the subjects said that it was transmissible by using commun toilet with an AIDS patient. Between the subjects who gave the right answer to the questions about protection from AIDS there was a statistically significant difference according to their marital status. Furthermore the number of subjects who answers right these questions is increasing by age and educational level.
