Tip 2 Diyabet Hastalarının Sağlığı Geliştirici Davranışlarının Değerlendirilmesi

Özet
Bu araştırma tip 2 diyabetli hastaların sağlığı geliştirici davranışlarının değerlendirilmesi amacı ile Ekim 2017-Şubat 2018 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Erzurum’da 3 büyük hastanenin diyabet polikliniklerinde takip edilen ve olasılıksız olarak seçilen 18 yaşından büyük, en az 1 yıldır diyabet tanısı olan, gebe olmayan, psikiyatrik sorunu olmayan ve Türkçe anlayabilen 249 Tip 2 Diyabetli hasta oluşturmuştur. Veriler yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile görüşme Formu ve Tip 2 Diyabet Hastalarının Sağlığı Geliştirici Davranışları Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS 12.0 paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Cronbach Alpha, bağımsız örneklemde t testi, tek yönlü ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan Tip 2 Diyabetli hastaların %58.2’si kadın ve hiç eğitim almayanlar %30.5 iken ilkokul düzeyinde eğitim seviyesine sahip olanlar %42.6 olarak çoğunluktadır. Yaş ortalaması 58.35±13.30, diyabet tanısı konma süreleri 10.39±8.22’dir. Fiziksel aktivite, risk azaltma, stres yönetimi, sağlık sorumluluğu ve sağlıklı diyet alt boyutları ile toplam puan ortalamaları karşılaştırıldığında gruplar arasındaki farkın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu saptanmıştır. Ölçeğin yaşamdan zevk alma alt boyut puan ortalamaları karşılaştırıldığında gruplar arasındaki fark istatistiksel olarak anlamsızdır.
Abstract
The aim of the this study was to determine the health-promoting lifestyle in patients with type 2 diabetes.The data were collected between October 2017-February 2018.The Type 2 Diabetes and Health Promotion Scale (T2DHPS) and a demographic questionnaire were administered to 295 participants with type 2 diabetes who had follow up appointments in the diabetic polyclinics of the three major hospitals in Erzurum were chosen without probability. The participants of the study were older than 18 years, diagnosed with diabetes at least 1 year previously, not pregnant, and were able to understand Turkish. The data were collected through the face-to-face interview method. The software SPSS 12.0 were used to assess the data. Descriptive statistics, Cronbach Alpha, independent sample t test, one way ANOVA, MannWhitney U test and Kruskal Wallis test were used in the assess of the data.In the study, 58.2% of the participants were female and 30.5% were not educated at all and 42.6% were in education level at primary school level. The mean age was 58.35 ± 13.30 and the duration of diabetes diagnosis was 10.39 ± 8.22. The difference between the groups was found to be statistically significant when physical activity, risk reduction, stress management, health responsibilities and healthy diet subscales were compared with the total score averages. when the mean scores of enjoyment subscale scores of the scale were compared, the difference between the groups was statistically insignificant.
