Sınırlı koroid hemanjiomu tedavisinde transpupiller termoterapinin etkinliği

Özet
Amaç: Transpupiller termoterapi (TTT) ile etkin bir şekilde tedavi edilen sınırlı koroid hemanjiomlu bir olguyu bildirmek. Yöntem: Makula dışı yerleşimli, sınırlı koroid hemanjiomu olan 44 yaşında erkek hastada, makula bölgesine uzanan retina altı sıvı birikimi nedeniyle görme keskinliği azalmıştı. Tümör kalınlığı 1.8 mm idi. Hastaya diod lazer ile (810 nm) TTT uygulandı. Tedavi sonrası lezyondaki değişiklikler fundus fotografı, fundus floressein anjiografi ve ultrasonografi ile takip edildi. Bulgular: Hastaya tek seans TTT uygulandı. Lazer gücü 600 mW ve tedavi süresi 3 dakika idi. Tedaviden 3 ay sonra hemanjiomun tamamen atrofiye olduğu, retina altı sıvısının kaybolduğu ve görme keskinliğinin arttığı görüldü. Sonuç: TTT, sınırlı koroid hemanjiomu tedavisinde etkili bir yöntemdir.
Abstract
Purpose: To report a case of circumscribed choroidal hemangioma effectively treated with transpupillary thermotherapy (TTT). Methods: A 44-year-old man with extramacular circumscribed choroidal hemangioma had sustained a decline in visual acuity caused by subretinal fluid exudation into the macular area. The tumour thickness was 1.8 mm. The patient underwent TTT with diode laser (810 nm). The course of the lesion after treatment was documented with fundus photography and ultrasonography. Result: He underwent a single session of TTT. The power was 700mW and treatment time was 3 minutes. Complete atrophy of the choroidal hemangioma with resorbtion of subretinal fluid was documented over the 3 months after transpupillary, with improvement in visual acuity. Conclusion: TTT is an effective method in the treatment of circumscribed choroidal hemangioma.
