Ventrikül taşikardisi ile tanınan ASD kapatma cihazının geç embolizasyonu

Özet

Günümüzde ostium sekundum tip atriyal septal defektlerde (ASD) seçkin tedavi deliğin transkateter yolla ve özel kapatma cihazları ile kapatılmasıdır. Kapatma cihazının embolizasyonu bu işlemlerde nadir olmayan bir komplikasyondur. Cihaz embolizasyonu çoğunlukla ilk saatler içinde ve pulmoner artere doğru gerçekleşir. Bu yazıda ASD kapatma cihazının hem erken hem de geç dönemde ve her ikisinde de aortaya embolize olduğu bir vaka sunulmaktadır.

Abstract

The gold standard management of ostium secundum type atrial septal defects (ASD) is transcatheter closure of the defect with dedicated devices. Embolization of the closure device is a “not infrequent” complication of the procedure. The device usually migrates into the pulmonary artery and in the early stage after the procedure.We, herein, present a case in which the closure device migrated into the aorta twice, first in the early and the other one in the late stage after the procedure.
