Yüksek basınçlı su hortumu ile oluşan göz yaralanması

Özet

Araba yıkama servisinde çalışan 21 yaşında erkek hasta, sol gözüne yüksek basınçlı su ile travma sonucu, perioküler deri hasarlanması, kornea epitel defekti, geniş Descemet dekolmanı ve iridodiyaliz ile acil servisimize başvurdu. Descemet dekolmanı için önce tıbbi tedavi, ardından ön kamaraya %20 sülfür heksaflorid (SF6) enjeksiyonu uygulandı. Gelişen kornea dekompanzasyonu sonucu keratoplasti uygulandı. Yüksek basınçlı su etkisi ile araba yıkama cihazları, birçok araba yıkama istasyonunda yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu tip son derece ciddi yaralanmaların olabileceği düşünülerek, cihazların dikkatli kullanılması yönünde çalışanlar bilinç kazanmalı, cihazların üretici firmaları da uyarıcı olmaları konusunda uyarılmalıdır.

Abstract

A 21-year-old car cleaning worker presented to the emergency service with periocular scratches, corneal epithelium defects, large Descemet detachments and iridodialysis in the left eye after he was hit in the face by a high pressure jet of water. Medical treatment followed by injection of 20% sulphure hexafluoride (SF6) gas into the anterior chamber was applied for the Descemet's membrane detachment. But the corneal decompansation occured and the patient gone to the keratoplasty operation. High pressure water jet is used frequently in the car washing stations. In the view of these kind of injuries, it is important to be aware for the workers and warning for the manufacturer of the device.
