Ergin yaşı ve konukçu türünün parazitoit (Bracon hebetor (SAY) (Hymenoptera: Braconidae)' un gelişme süresine etkisi

Özet
Bu çalışmada, iki konukçu türü Galleria mellonella (L, 1758) ve Ephestia kıtehniella (Zell., 1879)'nın parazitoit Bracon hebetor (Say, 1836)'da yaşa bağlı olarak, gelişme süresine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Denemeler, 26+2 °C sıcaklık, % 60+5 bağıl nem içeren ve sürekli olarak 20 wathk floresan ampulle aydınlatılan laboratuvar şartlarında yapıldı. Konukçu türünün ve parazitoitin yaşının, B. hebetor'un ergin öncesi gelişim süresini etkilediği belirlendi. G. mellonella üzerinde yetiştirilen ergin parazitoitlerden elde edilen yumurtalarda, yumurtadan ergine kadar olan gelişim süresi, 11-13 gün, E. kuehniella üzerinde yetiştirilen parazitoitlerden elde edilenlerde ise, 12-14 gün oldu. Ergin parazitoit yaşlandıkça, her iki konukçu türünde parazitoidin ergin öncesi gelişim süresi uzamıştır.
Abstract
In this study, effect of two host species, Galleria mellonella (L, 1758) and Ephestia kuehniella (Zell., 1879), on development period of parasitoid Bracon hebetor (Say) was investigated in relation to parasitoid age. Studies were carried out under the continuously illuminated laboratory Conditions using 20 W. fluorescent bulbs at 26+2 °C temperature and 60±5 % relative humidity. It was found that host species and parasitoid's age effected the preadult development period of B. hebetor. The period required for development from egg to adult was 11-13 days for the eggs obtained from parasitoid adults reared on G. mellonella and 12-14 days for E. kuehniella. As adult parasitoids aged, development period was increased on both host species.
