Karayolu ulaşımından kaynaklanan karbondioksit emisyonlarının çevreye etkisi ve kontrolü

Özet

Bu çalışmada karayolu taşıtlarından kaynaklanan sera gazlarının (özellikle CO) çevre üzerindeki olumsuz etkileri tanımlanmış ve bu etkiyi azaltıcı önlemler irdelenmiştir. Günümüzde taşıtların kirletici egzoz emisyonlarını kısıtlayan standartlar ve bu standartlara dayanan yönetmelikler yürürlüktedir. Ancak bu yönetmeliklerde yer almamasına karşın sera gazlan kapsamında bulunan CO2 emisyonlarının azaltılması yönündeki çalışmalar Kyoto Protokolü çerçevesinde sürdürülmektedir. Bu çalışmada uluslararası platformda, çeşitli sektörlerin sera gazlarına katkısı ve bunu azaltma doğrultusunda uygulanan önlemlere değinilmiş ve özellikle ulaştırma sektöründeki mevcut durum değerlendirilmiştir. Karayolu taşıtlarının CO2 emisyonlarının azaltılması yönündeki önlemler değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract

This study defines the negative effects of the greenhouse gases (especially CO) that result from road vehicles on the environment, and focuses on the measures that can be taken to reduce these effects. Today the standards limiting the vehicles' exhaust emmissions and regulations based on thsese standards are in effect. However, though they are not included in these regulations, the studies regarding the reduction of the emission of CO2, which is taken among the greenhouse gases, is being carried out in the scope of Kyoto Protocol. In this study, the contributions of various sectors to greenhouse gases and the measures that are taken to reduce this situation were mentioned, and the present state in the transportation sector was evaluated. The measures to reduce CO2 emissions of road vehicles were evaluated.
