The vascular flora of the Meriç ( Edirne ) River Basin

Özet
Bu calışmada, Türkiye ile Yunanistan arasında devlet sınırı teşkil eden Meriç nehri havzasının (A1E) vasküler florası sunulmaktadır. Bu çalışma ile konumu ve floristik zenginliginden dolayı önem taşıyan bu bölgenin florasının ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. 1995 ve 1996 yılları boyunca toplanmış bulunan 1239 bitki örneğinden 64 familya ve 214 cins mensup toplam 339 takson (332 tür, 7 alt tür) saptanmıştır. Bu taksonlar arasında, 2 Petidophyta ve 337 Spermatophyta (273 Dikotil ve 64 Monokotil) üyesi bulunmaktadır. En büyük familyalar Asteraceaea (40 takson, % 11,79); Poaceae (37 takson, % 10.91; Brassiceceae (34 takson,%10.02)’dir. Fitocoğrafik elementlerin dağılımı; Avrupa- Sibirya 51 takson (%15.04); Akdeniz 17 takson (%5.01); Doğu Akdeniz 15 takson (%4.42); İran- Turan 10 takson (%2.94); Öksin 5 takson (%1.47); Hirkano-Öksin 2 takson (%0.58) ve bilinmeyenler 221 takson (%65.19)’dur. Toplam taksonların 9’u (%2.65) endemik ve 9’u da (%2.65) kozmopolittir. 40 takson, Trakya bölgesi için yeni kayıttır.
Abstract
The vascular floro of the Meriç river basin, which forms the state border between Turkey and Greece (A1E), has been presented in this study. This research was undertaken to determine the vascular flora of this important area because of its location and floristic richness. A total of 339 taxa (332 species, 7 sub species) belonging 64 families and 214 genera were found out of 1239 plant specimens from which collected during the years 1995 and 1996. Among these taxa, there are 2 Pteridophyts and 337 Spermatophyts (273 Dicotyledons and 64 Monocotyledons). The largest families are Asteraceae (40 taxa; 11.79%); Poaceacea (37 taxa;10.91%); Brassicaceae (34 taxa; 10.02 %). The distribution of phytogeographical elements in Euro-Siberian 51 taxa (15.04%) ; Mediterranean 17 taxa (5.01%); East Mediterranean 15 taxa (4.42%); Irano-Turanian 10 taxa (2.94%); Euxine 5 taxa (1.47%) ;Hyrcano-Euxine 2 taxa (0.58%) and unknown 221 taxa (65.19%), 9 of total taxa (2.65%) are endemic whilist 9 are cosmopolitian (2.65%). 40 taxa are new records for Thrace region.
