SPOR LİSESİ ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN GİRİŞİMCİLİK YETERLİLİKLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı spor lisesi öğrencilerinin girişimcilik yeterliliklerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklem grubu Trabzon, Rize, Gümüşhane, Ordu ve Giresun illerinde yer alan spor liselerinde öğrenim gören 398 (Kız=148, Erkek= 250) öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın veri toplama süreci 2017-2018 Eğitim öğretim dönemi 2. kanaat döneminde tamamlanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak 2014 yılında Avrupa Komisyonu tarafından desteklenen “Astee-Girişimcilik Eğitimi için Ölçme Araçları ve Göstergeler Geliştirme” projesi kapsamında geliştirilen “Girişimcilik Yeterlilikleri Ölçme Aracı” kullanılmıştır. Son yıllarda yaşanan istihdam problemleri girişimcilikle ilgili araştırmaların önemini arttırmaktadır. Spor sektörünün de işsizlik probleminin karşılaşıldığı alanlardan biri olması nedeniyle bu araştırma, bir mesleki ortaöğretim kurumu olarak kabul edilen spor lisesi öğrencileri üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Test sonuçları erkek öğrencilerin ölçekten almış oldukları puanların kız öğrencilere göre anlamlı olarak daha yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. Lisanslı olarak spora katılım ve sportif etkinliklere katılım değişkenleri açısından ölçekten alınan puanlar anlamlı bir farklılık oluşturmazken; seçmeli olarak girişimcilik dersi alan öğrencilerin, almayanlara oranla anlamlı olarak daha yüksek puana sahip oldukları görülmüştür. Araştırma sonuçları girişimcilik eğitimine spor lisesi öğrencileri açısından daha fazla önem verilmesinin gerekliliğini ortaya koymuştur.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the entrepreneurship competence of sports high school students. The sample group of the study consisted of 398 (Female = 148, Male = 250) students attending sports high schools in Trabzon, Rize, Gümüşhane, Ordu and Giresun. The data collection process of the research was completed in the second term of 2017-2018 education period. “ASTEE Project Assessment Tool for Entrepreneurship Competencies Supported by European Commission’’ was used as a data collection tool. Employment problems in recent years increase the importance of research related to entrepreneurship. As the sports sector is one of the areas where the problem of unemployment is encountered, this research has been carried out by students of sports high schools who are accepted as a vocational secondary education institution. According to the test results, it was found that the scores of the male students were significantly higher in female students. While the scores obtained from the scale in terms of the participation to the sport in terms of the license and participation in sporting activities did not make a significant difference, it was seen that the students who took an entrepreneurship course have a significantly higher score than those who did not. The results of the study showed that entrepreneurship education should be given more importance for the students of sports high schools.
