Özet
Kolon temizliğinde oral fosfo-soda kullanımı giderek yaygınlaşmaktadır. Ancak, fosfo-soda hiperfosfatemi, hiperkalsemi, metabolik asidoz, hipernatremi, hipokalemi gibi ciddi yan etkilere neden olabilmektedir. Bu makalede, fosfo-soda kullanımına ikincil, semptomatik hiperfosfatemi ve hipokalsemi görülen bir olgu sunulmuş ve fosfo-soda kullanımının riskli olduğu durumlar gözden geçirilmiştir.
Abstract
Oral phospho-soda is increasingly being used for bowel preparation. However, it has severe side effects such as hyperphosphatemia, hypercalcemia, metabolic acidosis, hypernatremia and hypokalemia. In this manuscript, a case with symptomatic hyperphosphatemia and hypocalcemia secondary to phospho-soda ingestion is reported and the situations that ingestion of phospho-soda is risky, is reviewed.
