Özet
Vitiligoda tiroid otoantikorlarma normal popülasyona göre sık rastlanır, az bir kısmında ise otoimmün tiroid hastalığı tespit edilir. Bu hastalıklar arasında Hashimoto tiroiditi, Graves hastalığına göre daha az sıklıkla gözlenir.Yayınlarda vitiligo ile Hashimoto tiroiditi arasındaki nedensel ilişki, her iki hastalığın da otoimmün etyopatogeneze sahip olması ile açıklanmıştır. Bu yazıda, vitiligo nedeni ile tetkik edilirken Hashimoto tiroiditi tespit edilen 35 yasında bir olgu sunuldu.
Abstract
In vitiligo, thyroid autoantibodies are seen more frequently than normal population. In some vitiligo cases autoimmune thyroid diseases are seen more common. Among these diseases Hashimoto's thyroiditis is observed less frequently than Grave's disease. In articles the causal relationship between vitiligo and Hashimoto's thyroiditis is explained by their common etiopathogenesis; autoimmunity. In this article a case of a 35 year-old male patient has been presented that was diagnosed as Hashimoto's thyroiditis while undergoing a research with a diagnosis of Vitiligo.
