Romatoid artritli hastalarda serum testosteron ve prolaktin düzeyleri

Özet
Klinik ve deneysel çalışmalarda, otoimmün hastalıklar ve seks hormonları arasında ilişki olduğu gösterilmiştir. Bu çalışmada amaç romatoid artritli (RA) hastalarda serum total testosteron (TT), serbest testosteron (ST) ve prolaktin (PRL) seviyelerini belirlemektir.TT, STve PRL 'nin serum seviyeleri RIA yöntemiyle belirlendi. Romatoid artritli toplam 34 hasta, 26 kadın (yaş ortalaması : 47+12,4) ve 8 erkek (yaş ortalaması : 50,3+7,6) ve 27 sağlıklı kontrol (12 erkek: yaş ortalaması : 40 + 9 ; 15 kadın: yaş ortalaması : 44,3 + 15,8) çalışmaya alındı. Kadın hastaların ortalama serum TT, ST ve PRL düzeyleri sırasıyla 20,9+ 16,4 ng/ml, 1,34 + 0,98pg/ml ve 10,5 +4.1 ng/ml olarak bulundu. Kadın sıhhatli grubunun TT, ST ve PRL ortalama serum seviyeleri, sırasıyla 38,6 + 21ng/ml, 1,52 + 0,9pg/ml ve 14,1 + 2,4 ng/ml idi. Kadın RA 'lılarda TTve PRL serum düzeyleri sıhhatli kadın kontrol grubundan belirgin olarak daha düşük bulundu (p < 0,05, p < 0,05). Erkek hastaların ortalama serum TT, ST ve PRL düzeyleri sırasıyla 439,8+104,7 ng/ml, 16,1 + 4,8pg/mi ve 9,6 +3.2ng/ml olarak bulundu. Erkek sıhhatli grubunun TT, ST ve PRL ortalama serum seviyeleri, sırasıyla 660,1 +188,1 ng/ml, 27,8 + 3,6 pg/ml ve 15,7 + 4,9 ng/ml idi. Erkek RA'lılarda TT, ST ve PRL serum düzeyleri, sıhhatli erkek kontrol grubundan belirgin olarak daha düşük bulundu (p < 0,01, p < 0,001, p < 0,01).
Abstract
In clinical and experimental studies, an association between autoimmune diseases and sex hormons has been defined. In this study, the aim was to determine serum levels of total testosterone (TT), free testosterone (FT) and prolactin (PRL) in the patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The serum levels of TT, FT and PRL were determined by RIA. . . A total of 34 patients with rheumatoid arthritis , 26 women (mean age: 47,7+12,4) and 8 men (mean age: 50,3+7,6) and 27 healthy controls (12 men: mean age: 40+ 9; 15 women : mean age: 44, 3+15,8) were studies. The mean serum levels of TT, FT and PRL of female patients were found 20,9+16,4 ng/ml, 1,34+0, 98 pg/ ml and 10,5 + 4,1 ng/ml, respectively. The mean serum levels of TT, FT and PRL of female healthy group were 38,6+21 ng/ml, 1,52 + 0,9 pg/ml and 14,1 + 2,4 ng/ml, respectively. Serum levels of TT and PRL infernale RA were found to be significantly lower than those in the healthy control group (p < 0,05, p < 0,05). The mean serum levels of TT, FT and PRL of male patients were found 439,8+104,7 ng/ml, 16,1 + 4,8 pg/ml and 9,6 + 3,2 ng/ml, respectively. The mean serum levels of TT, FT and PRL of male healthy group were 660,1 + 188,1 ng/ml, 27,8 + 3,6 pg/ml ve 15,7 + 4,9 ng/ml, respectively. Serum levels of TT, FT and PRL in male RA were found to be significantly lower than those in the healthy control group (p < 0,01, p < 0,001, p< 0,01 ).
