Özet
Amaç: Bakteriyel vajinozis (BV) vajinitin en temel nedenlerinden birisidir. Pelvik inflamatuar hastalık (PID) ile olan ilişkisi ve kötü obstetrik prognoza sebep olması ciddi morbidite nedenleridir. Bu çalışmamızdaki amaç; BV tedavisinde oral antibiyotik kullanımlarına bir alternatif olarak, topikal klindamisin kullanımının tedavideki etkinliğini araştırmaktı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışmada Cleosin® %2 gr vajinal kremin BV üzerindeki etkinliği araştırıldı. Çalışmamızda, Zekai Tahir Burak Kadın Sağlığı Hastanesi Jinekoloji polikliniğine başvuran 70 hastadan 66'sı araştırmayı tamamladı. Bulgular: 14. ve 21. günlerde yapılan kontroller sonucunda 66 hastadan 60'ında (%91) mikrobiyolojik olarak, 62'sinde ise (%94) klinik olarak tedavi edilmiştir. Sonuç: Topikal klindamisin krem uygulamasının BV tedavisinde tedavi seçenekleri arasında yer alabileceği bu çalışmada görülmüştür.
Abstract
Objective: Bacterial vaginosis is one of the basic reasons of vaginitis. It's relation to pelvic inflammatory disease and it's leading to worse obstetric prognosis are serious reasons of morbidity. The aim of this study was to search the effectivity of topical clindamycin application as an alternative to oral antibiotics in the treatment of Bacterial vaginosis. Material and Method: In this study, the effect of Cleocin® 2% vaginal cream on bacterial vaginosis was searched. In our study, 66 of 70 participating patients to the gynecology outpatient service of Zekai Tahir Burak Maternity Hospital have completed this research. Results: On the results of 14. and 21. day controls, 60 of 66 patients (91%) were microbiologically and 62 of them (94%) were clinically cured. Conclusion: It was observed in this study that the topical clindamycin application can take part in the treatment alternatives of bacterial vaginosis.
