Sağlıklı koyunlarda güçlü iyon farklı ve uçucu olmayan zayıf asitlerin toplam konsantrasyonunun hesaplanması

Özet
Bu çalışma sağlıklı koyunlarda SID ve [Atot] değerlerinin hesaplanması, kan gazı cihazıyla ölçülen pH ile kolaylaştırılmış güçlü iyon teorisine göre hesaplanan pH değerlerinin karşılaştırılması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada toplam 20 adet sağlıklı koyun kullanılmıştır. Bu hayvanlarda pH, pCO2, HCO3 değerleri, plazma total protein, albumin, Na\ K+ ve Cl konsantrasyonları belirlenirken SID, Atot ve pH değerleri hesaplandı. Sağlıklı koyunlar için SID ve [Atot] sırasıyla 39.58±0.68 mEq/L, 19.06+0.28 mEq/L olduğu belirlendi. Ortalama total protein, sodyum, potasyum, klor ve HCO3 değerleri sırasıyla 8.66±0.58 g/dl, 144.8+2.46 mmol/L, 5.43+0.57 mmol/L, 105.8+2.01 mmol/L, 25.11+2.65 mmol/L olduğu tespit edildi. Ölçülen pH ortalama 7.34+0.06 bulunurken hesaplanan pH 7.63+0.39 olarak belirlendi. Sonuç olarak, koyunlarda SID ve [Atot] değerlerinin hesaplanması ile ilgili herhangi bir çalışmaya rastlanmamış olup bu çalışmada elde edilen değerlerin veteriner hekimlik açısından asit-baz bozukluğu bulunan koyunlarda ilerde yapılacak çalışmalara ışık tutacağı kanısındayız.
Abstract
This study was designed to calculate values for measured SID and Atot and, to compare pH measured by blood gas analyser with pH calculated according to the simplified strong.ion teory in healthy sheep. Twelve clinically healthy sheep were used in this study. Jugular venous blood samples were drawn from each animal and used to analyse blood gas and plasma biochemical values including pH, pCC>2, HCO3, total protein, albumin, Na+, K+ and Cl" concentrations were determined and SID, Atot and pH values were also calculated in these animals. For clinically healthy sheep, mean SID and [Atot] values were 39.27+3.43 mEq/L and 19.42+1.18 mEq/L respectively. Mean total protein, sodium, potasium, chlor and HCO3 concentrations were 8.66±0.58 g/dl, 144.8±2.46 mmol/L, 5.43±0.57 mmol/L, 105.8±2.01 mmol/L, 25.11+2.65 mmol/L respectively. Mean pH value measured by blood gas analyser was 7.34+0.06 while mean calculated pH was 7.63±0.39. In conclusion, This was the first peport where SID and [Atot] values were determined in sheep. The results therefore may be of use in determining acid-base disturbances of sheep in the field by veterinariens.
