Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Kıbrıs Türk milliyetçiliğinin doğuşu ve Atatürk İlke ve İnkılâp Hareketlerinin Türk milliyetçiliği üzerindeki etkilerini araştırmaktır. Bu dönemi en iyi şekilde anlayabilmek için Kıbrıs Adası'nın Osmanlı İmparatorluğu yönetimi ile başlayan ve İngiltere Hükümeti dönemiyle devam eden süreci genel hatları ile anlatılmaya çalışıldı. Kıbrıs Rum toplumunun milliyetçilik hareketleri ile Kıbrıs Türk toplumunun milliyetçilik hareketleri ayrı ayrı ele alınarak, Kıbrıs Türk toplumunda dönemin aydın kesiminin Türk milliyetçiliğinin gelişmesindeki etkileri üzerinde durulmuştur. Kıbrıs Türk toplumunun, kendilerini Anadolu'nun bir parçası olarak görmeleri ve Atatürk'ün de Kıbrıs Türk toplumuna değer veren davranışlar sergilemesi iki toplum arasındaki ilişkilerin gelişmesinde etkili olmuştur. Çalışmanın sonucunda, Kıbrıs Türk toplumunun; Kıbrıs Rum toplumunun Enosis propagandaları ve İngiltere'nin baskı politikaları karşısında vermiş olduğu mücadele üzerinde durulmuş ve Atatürk İlke ve İnkılâpları'nın Türk toplumu üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmıştır.
Abstract
The aim of this study Turkish Cypriot was the emergence of nationalism and Ataturk's principles and Turkish revolution Movements, was to investigate the effects on Turkish nationalism. The best way in order to understand this period of the Ottoman Empire, starting with the administration of the island of Cyprus, the UK government tried to explain in general terms the ongoing process of the era. Nationalist movements of the nationalist movements of the Greek Cypriot community and the Turkish Cypriot community were undertaken separately the intellectuals of the period of the Turkish Cypriot community has been focused on the effects on the development of Turkish nationalism.
