Özet
Testis torsiyonu spermatik kordun kendi etrafında dönmesi sonucu testisin kanlanmasının bozulması ve testisin iskemiye gitmesi ile sonuçlanan acil bir durumdur. Genellikle 20 yaş öncesi görülür. Yetişkinlerdeki testis torsiyonu, detorsiyonla tes- tisi kurtarma oranı çocukluk dönemine göre daha düşüktür. Cerrahi detorsiyonla testisi korunan 40 yaşında bir olgu sunul- maktadır.
Abstract
Ischemia of testis caused by twisting of spermatic cord around itself is defined as testicular torsion. This is a scrotal emer- gency. Torsion is more common in chilhood and early twenties. The salvage ratio of the testis after detorsion is better in childhood. A forty years old male with testicular torsion whose testis is saved after surgical detorsion.
