Maternal atopi hikayesi ve IgE seviyelerinin kordon kan IgE değerleri ile karşılaştırılması

Özet
Amaç: Çalışmamız maternal atopi hikayesi olan ve olmayan total 42 anne ve bebeğinin kordon kanı total Ig E değerleri arasındaki ilişkiyi göstermek amacıyla yapıldı. Yöntem: Doğum yapan 42 anne ve bebeğinin kordon kanı total Ig E değerleri Enzim immunoassay (ELISA) yöntemi ile tayin edildi. Bulgular: Atopi öyküsü bulunan annelerin bebeklerinin (n=6) atopi hikayesi olmayan annelerin bebeklerine göre (n=36) total Ig E değerleri istatistiki olarak daha yüksek saptandı (l,975 lU/ml'ye karşın 0,21 IU/mI) (p<0,0001).Ig E değeri 100 lU/ml'nin üzerinde tespit edilen 12 annenin bebeğinin Ig E düzeyleri, Ig E düzeyi 100 IU/ml'nin altında olan 30 annenin bebeğinin Ig E değerlerine göre daha yüksek bulundu(l,19 HJ/ml'ye karşı 0,20 IU/mI) (p<0,0001). Sonuç: Atopi öyküsünün varlığı ve yüksek maternal Ig E seviyelerinin yüksek kordon kanı Ig E seviyeleri ile kolere olduğunu saptadık. Bu bebeklerin takipleri ile atopiye yönelik önlemlerin erken dönemde alınmasının mümkün olacağını düşünmekteyiz
Abstract
Aim: This study aims to show the relationship between the maternal andfetal total cord blood lg E levels in a total of 42 mothers with and without history of atopy. Methods: Emim immunoassay metod was used the determine the total cord blood Ig E levels of 42 mothers and their babies. Results: The cord blood total I g E levels ofthe babies whose mothers had a history of atopy (n=6) werefound statisticaly higher, compared with the mothers \vithout a history of atopy. I g E levels ofthe babies whose mothers Ig E values \vere mor e than 100 lulml were found higher than the babies l g E levels whose mothers I g E levels were /över than 100 lulml. Conclusıons: The results of our study shovved us that the presents of a history f ör allergy and high maternal Ig E consentratıons correlated with high cord blood IgE concentrationes. Follo\ving these babies up could be valuable to take the preventive measures.
