Abstract
In this study, computer-aided design lessons in the Landscape and Ornamental Plants Program were evaluated within the context of Bologna process. For this purpose, the curriculums that were specifically prepared within the scope of Bologna process were investigated and examined for their effectiveness in teaching according to the Karakus and Selim’s Model (2011). In Turkey, there are 27 vocational schools, which have Landscape and Ornamental Plants Programs. 4 of these 27 vocational schools have their own evening education system. Therefore, all 31 curriculums of Landscape and Ornamental Plants’ Programmes were targeted for this study. 23 of these curriculums were collected. Out of these curriculums, it was found that 22 vocational schools providing Computer-aided Design lessons. The study showed that one computer-aided design lesson was given in 12 vocational schools, which was suitable to the model and two computer aided design lessons were given in 5 vocational schools, which were also suitable to it. The other 5 vocational schools were not suitable to the model in question. As a result, according to the Curriculum of METEB, giving computer-aided design as a single lesson increased while giving it as two lessons decreased.
