Özet
Tükenmişlik insanlarla yakından ilişkili mesleklerde, örneğin doktor ve hemşirelerde sık görülen bir bozukluktur. Bu çalışmanın amacı A.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi'nde çalışan doktor ve hemşireler arasında tükenmişlik sendromunun yaygınlığını saptamak ve tükenmişlik düzeyini etkileyen faktörleri belirlemektir. Veriler İç Hastalıkları Servisi'nde çalışan 109 hemşire ve 56 doktordan, Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği, İş Doyumu Ölçeği ve Çok Yönlü Sosyal Destek Ölçeği uygulanarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, hemşireler ve doktorlar arasında duygusal tükenme altölçeğinde anlamlı fark bulunmuş, buna karşılık kişisel başarı ve duyarsızlaşma alt ölçeklerinde anlamlı bir fark saptanmamıştır. Gruplar arasında İş Doyumu Ölçeği, Sosyal Destek Ölçeği skorları açısından da anlamlı fark bulunmamaktadır. Ayrıca cinsiyet, yaş ve çalışma süresinin de ölçeklerden elde edilen puanlar üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi saptanmamıştır. Sonuçlar çalışma koşulları, bedensel sorunlar vb açılardan tartışılmıştır.
Abstract
Burnout is an offen disorder that is seen in some professions the phsychians and the nurses who are in çare of people. The aim of this research is to determine the prevelance of burnout in medical doctors and nurses who work in Medical Faculty of Ankara University and to identify the factors vvhich affect the burnout level. Data were collected from 109 nurses and 56 doctors who work in the internal medicine service using Maslach Burnout Inventory, Job Satisfaction Inventory and Multidimentional Social Supports Scales. According to the result of the research, there was significant statistical difference in the emotional burnout subscale betvveen doctors and nurses, but there was not any significant difference in the personal accomplishment and insensitiveness subscales. Also there was no significant difference betvveen the two groups concerning the total score of Job Satisfaction Inventory and Multidimentional Social Support Scales. Moreover gender, age and the number of years spent in job vvere not found to be significant on the scores of the scales.
