ÖzBirey yaşantısı boyunca kendi yarattığı, insanlarca kurgulanmış veya sosyal yaşam içerisinde kendi sınırlarını oluşturmuş mekanlarda var olmak zorundadır. Görsel algı süreciyle bireyin genel bir mekan kimliği tanımlamasında bulunması, mekana dahil olan tüm görsel öğelerin bu algının oluşturulmasında önemli birer unsur olduğunu göstermektedir. Görsel ve kavramsal verinin yanı sıra, doğrudan sözel iletişim kanalına da sahip olmaları açısından, tipografi ve kaligrafinin algı üzerindeki etkisi, mekan kimliğinin kurgulanmasında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu unsurların mekan içindeki kurgu ve durumları; mekan algısını doğrudan etkilemekte ve bireyin kafasındaki mekanı tanımlamaktadır. Bu makalede, kaligrafik ve tipografik unsurların kullanımının, içinde bulundukları mekanın kavramsal kimliğine olan etkileri incelenmiştir.

Abstract

AbstractIndividuals througout where lives, must exsist at places that has been created by themselves, edited by people or places in social life where they have created their own boundries. The act of identifying a general place within the process of visual perception shows that all the elements included at the place are important elements for creating the perception.Typography and calligraphy have an important effect on the edition of the identity of the place in order to have a direct verbal communication channel besides visual and conceptual data. The edition and condition of these elements; directly affect the perception of the place and identifies the place inside the individual’s mind. This article, examines the effects of the conceptual identity of the place where calligraphic and typographic elements are used.
