Özet
Çalışmamızda, menapozda uygulanan aerobik egzersizlerin böbrek fonksiyonlarına etkilerini araştırmayı amaçladık. Menapozda, sistemik hastalığı olmayan toplam 31 olgu çalışma grubumuzu oluşturdu. Bu olguların 17'si kontrol grubu olarak çalışmaya alınırken 22 olgu aerobik egzersiz verilen grubu oluşturdu. Tüm hastaların çalışma öncesi ve 6 aylık çalışma dönemi sonunda serum üre, kreatinin GRF (Glomerular Filtration Rate) ve kreatinin klirensleri incelendi. Egzersiz verilen hasta grubuna, uygulanan tedavi postür, thera-bantlarlâ ve PNF paternlerine yakın hareketlerle denge, yük bindiren egzersiz ve yürüme olarak düzenlenmiştir. Hastalara haftada 3 seans ve 45'-60' süren aerobik egzersizler yaptırıldı. Egzersiz yapan grupta, GRF 86.31'den 132'ye yükseldi, idrar volümü ise yine aynı grupta 4.49 cm3/dl'den 10.2 cm3/dl'ye yükseldi. Her iki parametredeki artış istatistiki olarak anlamlıydı. Kontrol grubunda ise benzer bir artış saptanmadı. Menapozda yapılan aerobik egzersizlerin-renal fonksiyonları olumlu yönde etkilediği, diürezi arttırdığı objektif verilerle gösterilmiştir.
Abstract
OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of aerobic exercises on renal functions in postmenopausal women. STUDY DESIGN: To study the effect of aerobic exercises on renal functions in postmenopausal women, the clearance of urea and creatinine and their plasma levels have been determined before and after the treatment in 22 patients who had aerobic exercise for six months and in 12 control patients. For exercise therapy, exercise for posture, balance and weight loading, with theraband and PNF (probceptive neuromuscular facilitation) exercises had been done for three times a week for 45-60 minutes duration. RESULTS: In exercise group GFR levels have been found to increase from 4.49 to 10.2 whereas no increase was seen in control group. CONCLUSION: It can be said that aerobic exercises can cause good diuresis in postmenopausal patients and it also has good positive effects on renal function.
