Bir kalsiyum kanal blokeri olan nifedipin tokolitik ajan olarak yaygın bir şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Nifedipine bağlı hepatotoksisite olgularına literatürde rastlanmakla birlikte, preterm eylem için kullanımı sırasında hepatotoksisite gelişen sadece bir olgu bildirilmiştir. Biz, preterm eylem nedeniyle nifedipin kullanılırken karaciğer enzimlerinde yükselme gözlenen bir hastayı sunuyoruz
Abstract
Nifedipine, a well known calcium channel blocker, is also used as a tocolytic agent. Although nifedipine-associated hepatitis has already been appeared in the literature, there is only one paper that reports a patient with preterm labor treated with nifedipine. We present a patient with preterm labor treated this drug who had development of a concurrent elevation of serum liver enzyme levels. (Gynecol Obstet Reprod Med 2001; 7:62-63)
