The management of sick sinus syndrome in a pregnant woman: A case report

Özet
Bu makalede, hasta sinus sendromu-bradikardi/takikardi formu tanısıyla izlenen bir gebe sunulmuştur. Hasta sinus sendromunda semptomatik bradikardi kalıcı pacemaker indikasyonudur. Hastamızda senkopal atak hikayesi olmadığı için daha önceden kalıcı pacemaker takılmamıştır. Ancak tetkikler sonucunda exersise bağlı kalp atımında artış olmadığı için hastamıza eylemin ilk evresinde geçici pacemaker takıldı. Doğum komplikasyonsuz olarak tamamlandı.
Abstract
In this paper we presented a pregnant woman with sick sinus syndrome in bradycardia/tachycardia form. Symptomatic bradycardia is the indication of permanent pacing in sick sinus syndrome. Since our patient had no history of syncopal attacks, permanent pacing hadn't been inserted. But due to no increase of her heart rate during exercise, temporary pacemaker was inserted at the beginning of labor and delivery occurred without complication in mother and her baby.
