Abstract
A newborn with coexistent congenital aganglionic megacolon and organoaxial gastric volvulus is reported. The pregnancy was complicated by polyhydramnios, which was detected in the third trimester. The fetal abdominal circumference increased discordant with the age of gestation. The patient presented with early onset of abdominal distention and nonbilious vomiting. Prenatal detection of polyhydramnios, fetal factors associated with polyhydramnios and coexistence of upper and lower gastrointestinal obstruction is discussed.
