Özet
Timid bezi hemiagenezisi nadir görülen konjenital bir anomalidir. Genellikle sintigrafik incelemelerde veya ameliyat esnasında tesadüfen rastlanmaktadır. Hemiagenezisli olgular hipertroidi, timid karsinomaları, kolloidal guatr ve hipotroidi ile birlikte bulunabilmektedir. Hemiagenezi tanısı konulan olgular bu hastalıklar yönünden değerlendirilmeli ve takip edilmelidir
Abstract
Hemiagenesis of the thyroid gland, a congenital anomaly is seen very rarely. In general, it is incidentally diagnosed by thyroid scanning or at surgery. Thyroid disorders associated with hemiagenesis are hyperthyroidism, thyroid carcinomas, colloidal goitre and hypothyroidism. Patients with hemiagenesis should be evaluated for the co-occurrence of these disordes. In this article, two cases of thyroid hemiagenesis who had total and subtotal thyroidectomy were presented.
