Özet
Bu çalışmada kolesterol, trigliserid, düşük dansiteli lipoprotein (LDL), çok düşük dansiteli lipoprotein (VLDL), yüksek dansiteli lipoprotein (HDL), apolipoprotein A (apoA), apo B, Lipoprotein (a) [Lp(a)( düzeyleri ile in vitro trombositten zengin plazmada trombosit agregasyonu ve spontan trombosit agregasyonu arasındaki ilişki araştırıldı. Özellikle LDL-kollesterolü yüksekliğinin in vitro trombosit hiperagregabilitesi oluşturması nedeni ile aterosklerozda önemli risk oluşturduğu söylenebilir.
Abstract
In this study the relationship between the levels of cholesterol, trigliserid, low density lipoproteins (LDL), very low density lipoproteins (VLDL), high density lipoproteins (HDL), apolipoprotein A (Apo A), Apo B, lipoprotein (a) [Lp(a)] with in vitro platelet aggregation in platelet rich plasma and spontaneous platelet aggregation were investigated. 19 cases with high cholesterol levels and 20 cases with normal cholesterol levels were included in the study, because of hypercholesterolemia is a risk factor for atherosclerosis. Platelet aggregation with ADP (%64.53 ± 2.23 versus %58.47 ± 1.98; p<0.05), epinephrine (%63.37 ± 4.02 versus %58.48 ± 1.99; p<0.05) and collagen (%67.50 ± 2.07 versus %60.36 ± 1.67; p<0.05) were found significantly higher as statistically in cases with higher LDL cholesterol levels comparing with normal cases, respectively. While platelet aggregation with collagen (%64.71 ± 2.97 versus %56.94 ± 3.44; p<0.05) was found significantly higher as statistically in cases with higher cholesterol levels comparing with normal cases, whereas platelet aggregation with ADP and epinephrine was not meaningful. According to these results, hypercholesterolemia could be cause in vitro platelet hyperaggregability. It can be speculated that, since it causes in vitro platelet hyperaggregability, particularly high levels of LDL cholesterol could be an important risk factor for atherosclerosis.
