Özet
Ludwig Anjini, submandibüler ve sublingual boşlukların birlikte tutulduğu hayatı tehdit eden bir enfeksiyondur. Çoğu olguda enfeksiyon özellikle mandibüler molarlar olmak üzere dişlerden kaynaklanır. Etken organizmalar aerobik ve anaerobik gram pozitif veya negatif koklar ve gram negatif basillerdir. Ludwig Anjini'nin tedavisinde trakeotomi gerekliliği ve erken cerrahi dekompresyon konusunda görüş birliği yoktur. Bu makalede, immünolojik değerlendirmesi ve tedavi şekilleriyle beraber bir olgu sunulmuş ve ilgili literatür incelenmiştir.
Abstract
The term Ludwig's angina refers to potentially life threatening infection that collective involvement of the submandibular and sublingual spaces. In most cases, the infection arises from teeth, especially from mandibular molar teeth. The causative organisms include a variety of aerobic and anaerobic gram-positive cocci and gram-negative rods. There is no agreement about the need of tracheotomy and early surgical decompression. In this article, a case of Ludwig's angina is presented with evaluation of the patient's immune status and discussion of treatment modality, and reviewed the literature.
