Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışma, Van bölgesinde yaşayan tiroid hormonu değerlerini elde etmek amacıyla yapıldı. Yöntem: Çalışmaya yaşları 21-63 arasında olan tiroid hastalığını düşündüren herhangi bir şikayeti olmayan ve fizik muayenesi normal olan 596 sağlıklı kişi alındı. Tiroid hormon tayinleri serum örneklerinde radioimmunoassay (RİA) yöntemiyle gerçekleştirildi. Bulgular: Çalışma sonunda, normal değer ortalamaları total T3 için 1.92± 0.44 nmol/L, total T4 için 117.03± 22.71 nmol/L, serbest T3 için 5.20± 0.60 pmol/L, serbest T4 için 17.06± 2.96 pmol/L ve TSH için 1.33± 0.73 m IU/ml olarak bulundu. Sonuç: Tiroid değerlerinin normal sınırlarda, TSH değerlerinin ise düşük olduğu sonucuna varıldı.
Abstract
Objective: This study was performed in order to obtain reference values of thyroid hormones in 596healthy adults living in Van and its surrounding. Methods: The study comprised healthy people at various aged 21-63 yrs who revealed normal physical examination and had not known symptoms related to thyroid diseases. Thyroid hormones were determined in serum samples by radioimmunoassay (RIA). Results: The normal values were found to be 1.92± 0.44 nmol/L for total T3, 117.03± 22.71 nmol/L for total T4, 5.20± 0.60 pmol/L for free T3, 17.06± 2.96 pmol/L for free T4, 1.33± 0.73 m IU/ml for TSH. Conclusion: Values of thyroid hormones are concluded as normal and of TSH as low.
