Akupunktur ile ağrı kontrolü ve nörotransmitterler

Özet

Amaç: Akupunktur iğnesinin akupunktur noktasına batırılması ile başlayan uyarıların merkezi sinir sistemine ulaşması ve buradan verilen cevap incelenecektir. Ana Bulgular: Akupunktur iğnesinin akupunktur noktasına batırılmasıyla başlayan uyarılar, medulla spinalis, beyin sapı ve merkezi sinir sisteminde kortekse kadar ulaşır ve mezensefalonda periakuaduktal gri cevher ve periventriküler bölgedeki nöronları uyararak ağrı kontrol sistemini harekete geçirir. Sonuç: Ağrı kontrol sisteminin uyarılmasıyla beyin dokusunda ve plazmada beta endorfin, enkefalin, serotonin ve norepinefrin düzeylerinin yükselmesiyle meydana gelen analjezik ve antienflamatuar etkiden dolayı ağrı sendromlu hastalıktaların tedavisinde akupunktur uygulaması tedavi yöntemi olarak kullanılabilir

Abstract

Objective: The transmission of the stimulations to the central nervous system which are initiated with the insertion of acupuncture needles into the acupuncture points will be analyzed along with the responses coming from the central nervous system. Main Findings: The stimulations which are initiated with the insertion of acupuncture needles into the acupuncture points reach at medulla spinalis, brain stem and cortex in central nervous system and they evoke the pain control system by stimulating the periaqueductal gray matter in mezensefalon and the neurons in periventricular area. Conclusion: Due to analgesic and anti-inflammation effects which are caused by the rise of the levels of beta endorphin, encephalin, serotonin and norepinehrine by stimulating pain control system in brain tissues and plasma, acupuncture can be used in illnesses with pain syndrome as a treatment.
