Özet
Bir yıl süresince Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Patoloji Anabilim Dalı'nda yapılan immünhistokimya (IHK) boya sonuçları, tekniğin tanısal değerini ve rutin cerrahi patolojiye katkı¬sını araştırmak amacıyla gözden geçirilmiştir. Bu süre içerisinde malign neoplazmı tanısı alan 1072 olgunun %7 (80 olgu)'sine IHK boyaları uygulanmıştır. IHK, olguların %47J5 (38 olgu)'unda tanısal, %35 (28 olgu)'inde ön tanıyı destekler özellikte, %17,5 (14 olgu)'unda yararsız bulunmuştur.
Abstract
We have reexamined the results of immunhistochemical (IHC) stains which were performed during one year period at the Dokuz Eylül University Medical Fakulty Department of Pathology in order to evaluate the diagnostic value contribution of this technique tu rutine surgical pathology practise. IHC stains were performed on 7% (80 cases) of 1072 cases which were diagnosed as malignant neoplasms during this period. IHC was diagnostic in 47.5% (38 cases), supportive of original diagnosis in 35% (28 cases), and not contributory to original diagnosis in 17.5% (14 cases) of the cases.
