It was found out that 74.4% of the mothers measure their children’s body temperature from axilla, and that 11.9% of the mothers evaluated the the body temperature of their children without using a clinical thermometer. When their children’s body temperature rised, 76.6% of the mothers had given antifeb- rile medicine to their children, taken away their children’s clothings off (61.9%), made their children to take a shower (52.8%) or drink water (75.7%), and immediately started to give them antibiotics (16.9%). Majority (92.4%) of mothers didn’t give their children acetyl salicylic acid to reduce their fever, and 82.5% of the mothers get alarmed when their children had fever.
