Özet

Sofralarda sütten üretilip en fazla tüketilen ve tercih edilen besinlerden biri de peynirdir. Karaman iline özgü geleneksel bir peynir türü olan Divle Obruğu tulum peyniride güçlü bir lezzete sahiptir. Araştırmanın amacı, Karaman halkının, coğrafi işaretli bir ürün olan Divle Obruğu tulum peyniri hakkında farkındalığının belirlenmesi ve bu peynir çeşidinin Karaman gastronomi turizmine katkısının değerlendirilmesidir. Bu amaçla Karaman ilindeki 400 bireye anket uygulaması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada tesadüfi olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden kolayda örnekleme yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda; Divle Obruğu tulum peynirinin özelliklerinin yerel halk tarafından fazla bilinmediği, peynirin Karaman iline özgü kültürel bir değer olduğu ve korunması gerektiği ortaya çıkarılmıştır.

Abstract

Cheese is one of the most consumed and preferred foods produced from milk. Divle Obruk tulum cheese, which is a traditional cheese of Karaman province, has a strong flavor. The aim of this study is to determine the awareness of the people of Karaman about the Divle Obruk tulum cheese which is a geographical indication product and to evaluate the contribution of this cheese type to Karaman gastronomy tourism. For this purpose, a survey study is applied to 400 people in Karaman province. In this study, easy sampling method, one of the non-random sampling methods is preferred. As a result of this research; It has been revealed that the characteristics of Divle Obruk tulum cheese is not commonly known by the local people and this cheese is a cultural value that is unique to Karaman province and it should be preserved.
