Özet
Testis kanseri, erkek çocuklarda sık görülen malignitelerden biridir ve en yaygın tipi germ hücreli tümörlerdir. Lenfomalar, puberte öncesi erkek çocuklarda primer testis kanseri olarak ender oluşur ve lokalize olduğunda iyi prognoza sahiptir. Burada, skrotum ve penis cildinde endürasyon ve şişlikler ile başvuran 2.5 yaşındaki bir hasta sunulmuştur. Hasta kombine kemoterapi ile tedavi edilmiş olup, tanıdan itibaren 61 aydır hastalıksız olarak yaşamaktadır.
Abstract
Testicular tumor is one of the most common tumors ın young male patients; germ cell tumors are the most frequent type. Lymphomas may rarely occur as primary testicular tumors in prepubertal boys and, when localized, appear to be associated with a favourable prognosis. We report a 2.5 year-old boy who presented with infiltrative induration and swelling on the skin of the penis and scrotum. The patient was treated by combination chemotherapy and is alive with no evidence of disease 61 months following initial diagnosis.
