Özet

Amaç: Ovaryen matür kistik teratoma olgularının klinik, patolojik özelliklerini ve operatif yaklaşım şekillerini değerlendirmektir.Yöntemler: 2006-2015 yılları arasında matür kistik teratom tanılı 110 olgu retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi.Bulgular: Hastaların yaş ortalaması 34,7 idi. Tümör hacim ortalaması 128,2 cm3 idi. Olguların 2'si bilateral yerleşimli (%1,8) idi. Yalnızca %9,09'u postmenopoz kadınlardan oluşmaktaydı. Olguların %56,4'si laparotomi, %19,1'i laparoskopi ile opere edilmişti.

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate clinical, pathological features and operative approaches for patients with the diagnosis of mature cystic ovarian teratoma. Methods: A total 110 women with mature cystic teratoma diagnosed between 20062015 were evaluated retrospectively. Results: The mean age of the patients was 34.7 years. The mean volume of tumors was 128.2 cm3. Two cases showed bilateral localization (1.8%). Only, 9.09% of the patients were postmenopausal. Operation method was laparotomy for 56.4% of the cases and laparoscopy for 19.1% of them. Mature cystic teratoma was detected in 24.5% of the cases during cesarean section. The most common preferred types of surgery were salpingo-oophorectomy (39.1%) and cyst excision (33.6 %). Torsion was detected intraoperatively in 6.36% of the cases. Malignant transformation was seen in a postmenopausal case (0.9%).Conclusion: Mature cystic teratoma is seen in women of reproductive age and torsion is its most common complication. Unilateral localization and rarely tendency to malignant transformation are its characteristic features
