Özet

Tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan COVID-19 pandemisi kuşkusuz ki en çok sağlık bakım sistemini etkilemiştir. 11 Mart 2020 tarihinde ilk olgunun ülke sınırları içerisinde görülmesiyle pandemi hastaneleri oluşturulmuş, birçok klinik ve yoğun bakım COVID-19 klinikleri ve yoğun bakımlarına dönüştürülmüştür. Dünya çapında artan enfekte olgular, sayısı günden güne hızla artan ölümler sağlık profesyonellerini etkin bakım ve tedavi arayışına yönlendirmiştir. Uluslararası ve ulusal ölçekte bakım ve tedaviye ilişkin rehberler yayınlanmakta ve etkin mücadele yöntemleri aranmaktadır. Daha önce karşılaşılmayan bir durum karşısında mücadele vermek deneyimlerin paylaşılmasını çok daha kıymetli duruma getirmiştir. Bu nedenle COVID-19 pozitif bireylerin yaşadıkları semptomların etkin bir şekilde yönetilerek kaliteli bir bakım sunulması önem kazanmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunda COVID-19 pozitif tanısı ile takip edilen bir hastanın hemşirelik bakım süreci hasta Günlük Yaşam Aktiviteleri Modeli (GYA) doğrultusunda değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected the whole World, has certainly affected healthcare systems more than anything else. Hospitals for the pandemic were established when the first case was seen in Turkey on March 11, 2020. A lot of clinics and intensive care units were turned into pandemic clinics and intensive care units. An increase in cases and the rapidly increasing number of deaths from day to day worldwide led health professionals to seek effective cares and treatment. Guides on COVID-19 care and treatment were published on an international and national scale, and effective methods for fighting the virus were sought. Fighting a virus that has not been encountered before has made sharing experiences much more valuable. Therefore, it is important to effectively manage the symptoms that individuals with COVID-19 experience and to provide quality care. In this case presentation, the nursing care process of a patient who received positive diagnosis of COVID-19 was evaluated in according to the Daily Life Activities Model (DLAM).
