Amiodaron Kullanımına Bağlı Gelişen Hipotiroidi

Özet

Amiodaron,ventriküler aritmi, paroksismal supraventriküler taşikardi, atriyal fibrilasyon, atriyal flutter gibi kardiyak aritmilerin tedavisinde sık tercih edilen bir antiaritmiktir. Literatüre göre en sık ve en önemli yan etkilerinden biri tiroiddisfonksiyonuna sebep olmasıdır. Klinikte ise hastaların büyük çoğunluğu ötiroid kalmakla birlikte bazılarında tirotoksikoz bazılarında ise hipotiroidi tablosu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Amiodarona bağlı tirotoksikoz insidansı %2-12 arasında, hipotiroidi insidansı ise %6-13 arasında değişmektedir. Vakamızda amiodaron kullanımına bağlı hipotiroidi gelişen bir hastayı sunduk..

Abstract

Amiodarone is a preferred antiarrhythmia in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias such as ventricular arrhythmia, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter. According to the literature, one of the most common and most important side effects is the cause of the thyroid function. In the clinic, the vast majority of patients stay with euthyroidism, some with thyrotoxicosis and some with hypothyroidism. The incidence of amiodarone-induced thyrotoxicosis ranges between 2-12% and the incidence of hypothyroidism ranges between 6-13%. We present a patient with hypothyroidism due to the use of amiodarone in our case.
