Grubun sonunda depresif belirti ?iddetinde anlaml? azalma tespit edildi (z=2.677,p=0.007, Wilcoxon testi). Hastalar?n grup psikoterapisive psikodramadan beklentileri gözden geçirildi. Grupsonunda hastalarda öfke kontrolünün artt???, korkular?nve gerginli?in azald???, gruptan destek gördükleri vekendilerini daha iyi tan?d?klar? tespit edildi. Sonuç:Sonuçlar?m?z psikodrama grup psikoterapisinin depresyon tedavisinde iyile?meye katk?da bulundu?unudü?ündürmektedir. Psikodrama, depresyonun olu?umunda hangi etmenlerin rol oynad???n?n anla??lmas?na vehasta taraf?ndan da fark edilen bu etmenlerin de?i?iminekatk?da bulunmu?tur
Abstract
Object: Psychodrama enables a formulation relatedwith the factors causing depression while contributingto the patients to acquire insight and get well. With psychodrama group psychotherapy applications, thepatients can benefit from the treating factors of groupstudy as well as the specific technique and interventionsof psychodrama. The objective in this study was to summarize the psychodrama psychotherapy applicationprocess on depression patients with antidepressant useand to discuss the points which are thought to contribute to recuperation. Methods: A total of 15 patientswith mild-moderate level of depression participated inthe study and 9 patients completed the group process. In addition to medications, a total of 16 sessions ofgroup psychotherapy and psychodrama studies wereapplied on the patients with 3 hours of each per week. The severity of depression was assessed via HamiltonDepression Rating Scale (HAM-D17). Expectations of thepatients from group therapy were asked during the firstsession and a common list was prepared using therecorded responses. It was evaluated in the final sessionwhether these expectations have been met or not. Results: The initial HAM-D17 score average of thepatients was determined as 13.33 (±2.39), whereas itwas determined as 5.88 (±4.01) at the end of the treatment. A statistically significant decrease was determinedin the severity of depressive symptoms after treatment(z=2.677, p=0.007, Wilcoxon test). The expectations ofthe patients from group psychotherapy and psychodrama were revised. It was determined at the end of thetreatment that anger control of the patients increased, fears and irritability decreased, that they received support from the group and that they understood themselves better. Discussion: Our results lead us to thinkthat psychodrama group psychotherapy contributes torecovery in depression treatment. Psychodrama has contributed to understanding which factors have played arole in the formation of depression and the changing ofthese factors realized by the patient as well.
