Özet
Cinsel istismar tüm dünyada görülen yaygın bir sağlık sorunudur. Adolesanlarda cinsel istismarın zihin ve beden sağlığı üzerindeki olası hasarları nedeni ile oldukça önemlidir. Cinsel istismara uğramış adolesan- lar, insan immün yetmezlik virus (HIV) enfeksiyonu da dahil olmak üzere cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalıklar için çocuklara göre büyük risk altındadır. Bu nedenle, tüm cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalıklar açısından taranmalı ve profilaksi için değerlendirilmelidir. (J Pediatr Inf 2015; 9: 76-80)
Abstract
Sexual abuse is a widespread health problem across the world. Sexual abuse of adolescents is a very important issue that is potentially damaging to their mental and physical health. Sexually abused adoles- cents are at a higher risk of developing sexually trans- mitted infections, including infection with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), than children. Therefore, they should be screened for all sexually transmitted infections and evaluated for prophylaxis. (J Pediatr Inf 2015; 9: 76-80)
