Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ebeveynlerin gözünden çocukların bilgisayar ve internet kullanımının olumlu-olumsuz yönlerini incelemektir. Çalışma Tokat ilinde 145 çocuğun ebeveyni ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen anket kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışma nicel veri analizine dayalı, araştırma sorularını incelemeye yönelik yapılmış betimsel (Tarama, survey) bir çalışmadır. Geçerli sayılan anket formundaki veriler bilgisayara aktarılmış ve verilerin analizi SPSS 19.0 programında yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, anne babalar evde bilgisayarın en çok çalışma odası, salon ve oturma odasına bulunduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Anne ve babalar bilgisayar kullanmanın olumlu yönleri nelerdir sorusuna en çok ‘’Bilgiye Erişimi Sağlar'' cevabı verirken, bilgisayar kullanmanın olumsuz yönleri nelerdir sorusuna ise en çok ''Sağlığı olumsuz etkiler'' cevabını vermişlerdir. Anne ve babalar İnternet kullanmanın olumlu yönleri nelerdir sorusuna en çok ''Bilgiye Kolay ve Hızlı Erişim Sağlar'' cevabı verirken, İnternet kullanmanın olumsuz yönleri nelerdir sorusuna ise en çok ''Çocukların yaş ve gelişimine uygun olmayan zararlı/olumsuz içeriklere erişme'' cevabını vermişlerdir.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the positive and negative aspects of children's computer and internet usage from the eyes of parents. The study was carried out with the parents of 145 children in Tokat province. The interview form developed by the researcher was used in the study. This study is a descriptive survey which is based on quantitative data analysis. The data in the valid interview form were transferred to the computer and the data were analyzed in SPSS program. At the end of the study, parents stated that the computer was mostly found in the study room, living room and living room at home. What are the positive aspects of parents using computers? most of the question "Provides Access to Information" gave the answer. What are the negative aspects of using computers? '' Health negatively affects '' most of the answer to the question. Parents; what are the positive aspects of using the internet? '' Provides Easy and Fast Access to Information '' is the answer to the question. The question of what are the negative aspects of using the Internet is the answer to the most '' harmful content that is not suitable for children's age and development ''.
