Özet
Bu çalışmada, Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Liselerinde verilen muhasebe eğitiminin teorik ve pratik açıdan yeterliliği, öğretim faaliyetlerinin sektördeki ve mevzuattaki değişiklik ve yeniliklere göre güncelliği, Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Liselerindeki öğretim programlarının kendisinden beklenen fonksiyonu ne ölçüde yerine getirebildiği tespit edilerek, ortaya çıkan sorunlara ilişkin çözüm önerileri getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda mesleki ortaöğretim kurumlarında verilen muhasebe eğitimiyle öğrencilerin muhasebecilik mesleğinin gerektirdiği yeterliliklere sahip olamadığı, bu okullardaki mevcut muhasebe eğitimiyle bireylerin muhasebecilik mesleğini icra edemeyeceği, ortaöğretim kurumlarındaki muhasebe eğitiminin yeniden yapılandırılması ve uygulamalı eğitime daha fazla ağırlık verilmesi gerekliliği ortaya çıkmıştır.
Abstract
In this study, the adequacy of the accounting education provided in Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools from the theoretical and practical aspects, the up-to-dateness of the training activities according to the changes and innovations in the sector and the legislation, and to the what extent the training programmes in the Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools fulfil the function expected have been determined and suggestions for solutions to the problems found have been given. According to the study, the results that students cannot acquire the qualifications required by the accounting profession by the accounting training given in vocational secondary institutions, that the individuals will not be able to perform the accounting profession with the current accounting education in these schools, and that the accounting education in secondary schools should be restructured and the practical education should be given more emphasis have emerged.
