Özet
Mustafa Kemal, Türk Devrimi'nin önderi ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin kurucusudur. Balkan Savaşları sonunda Osmanlı Devleti'nin elinden çıkacak olan Rumeli topraklarında doğmuştu. Köken itibariyle, Osmanlı toplumu içinde ayrıcalıklı "devletlu" sınıfından değil, göreli olarak aşağı sınıflardan geliyordu. Babasını küçük yaşta kaybetmiş, güvencesiz kalmış bir ailenin çocuğu idi. Bu nedenle, Askeri Rüştiye sınavını kazanması, hayatı açısından bir dönüm noktası sayılmalıdır. Harp Okulu ve Harp Akademisinde aldığı eğitimden sonra parlak bir askeri kariyeri oldu. Yirminci Yüzyılın başından itibaren sürmekte olan ulus devletlerin yükselme çağında, bağımsızlığını kaybetmemiş olmasına rağmen bir yarı-sömürge duruma düşen Osmanlı Devletinin başarılı bir generali idi. İmparatorluğun dağılmanın eşiğine geldiği Birinci Dünya Savaşı'nda, yönetici seçkinler sınıfı içinde önemli bir yere geldi. Mütareke döneminde Ordu Müfettişliği görevi ile gönderildiği Anadolu'da, milli kurtuluş savaşını örgütleyerek başarıya ulaştırdı. Bütün siyasal eylemini kuruluşuna önderlik ettiği Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisine dayandırdı. Türk bağımsızlık savaşını başarıya ulaştırmasından sonra, Türkiye Cumhuriyetinin kurucu önderi ve ilk cumhurbaşkanı oldu. Kurduğu devlet, Orta Doğu'da kurulmuş ilk çağdaş ulus devlettir. Mustafa Kemal cumhuriyet devriminden sonra bir dizi devrim hareketi ile Türkiye'nin hukuki ve sosyo-ekonomik dönüşümünü sağladı. Siyasal eylemine kılavuzluk eden değerler Aydınlanma ve Fransız burjuva demokratik devrimin izlerini taşımaktadır
Abstract
Mustafa Kemal is leader of the Turkish Revolution and founder of the Turkish Republic. He was born in the Ottoman province of Rumeli which would be lost at the end of the Balkan Wars. As of social origin, he had no contact with the "privileged ruling class". Instead, he had descended from a somewhat lower class. He lost his father at a young age; he was a child of a family that was remained precarious. Therefore, his admission to the Military Junior High School was a turning point which was so vital to his prospective life. After having a well-prepared education at the Military College and the Military Academy, He had a brilliant professional career. At the age of the rising wave of nation state building process that had started from the beginning of the twentieth century, he was a dominant general of Ottoman Empire that fell in to a semi-colonial status even though it had not lost its independence. In the First World War that paved the way to come to the edge of disintegration of the empire, he gained an important position in the ruling elite. At the end of the war, he became a very well-known general among others. After having successfully organized a national liberation front in Anatolia where he was appointed as general inspectorate of the Ninth Army during the armistice period, he established the Turkish Grand National Assembly, and re-founded the army. Under his command, Turkish war of national independence was finally resulted in favor of the Turks. Mustafa Kemal settled the legitimacy of the Assembly, which he led to its establishment, as the basis of his all political actions. After the Turkish war of independence was successfully completed, he became the founder father of the Republic and was elected the first president of Turkey. The state he established is the first modern state in the Middle East in all respects. After the revolution, Mustafa Kemal transformed Turkey's legal and socio- economic structure through a series of daring laws and regulations. As a result, it may be said that the values that guided his overall political action bears the traces of the Enlightenment and French bourgeois-democratic revolution
