Özet
Bu çalışmada çeviri ve çevirmen konulu haber metinleri ve dergi yazıları aracılığıyla çeviri söyleminin toplumsal bellekte oluşumu ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmanın temel amacı günlük iletişimde yazılı (yazınsal ve uzmanlık alanlarında) ve sözlü çevirinin izlerini sürerek eldeki bütünce üzerinden çeviri ve çevirmenin gazete ve dergi yazılarında nasıl ve çeviri alanlarına ve türlerine göre ne sıklıkta sunulduğuna bakmaktır. Genel bir sonuca varabilmek için seçilen metin örnekleri çeviri alanları ve türlerine göre sıralanarak her tür için eldeki veriler yorumlanmıştır.
Abstract
This work discusses the formation of translation discourse, as part of social memory, through news texts and periodicals that refer to "translation/interpretation" and "translator/interpreter". The main objective of the discussion is to follow the traces of translation discourse in written and oral modes (translation and interpretation; and literary and technical content) in daily public communication. In order to draw a general conclusion for the purposes of this work, the extracts from the text samples have been listed and evaluated in terms of types and modes of translation with critical notes for each mode and type basing on their occurences in the present selection of news items and periodicals.
