Fatih Projesi ile ilgili Öğrenci ve Öğretmen Görüşleri

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Ankara ilinde lise düzeyinde eğitim veren okullarda uygulamaya konulan FATİH projesine ilişkin öğrenci ve öğretmenlerin görüşlerini almak ve alınan görüşleri incelemektir. Ankara ilinden seçilen 5 pilot okuldan çalışmaya 520 öğrenci ve 65 öğretmen katılmıştır. Öğrenci ve öğretmen görüşleri hem nicel hem de nitel olarak bir anket yardımıyla alınmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre öğrenciler; FATİH projesinin eğitime katkısı olmadığını, etkileşimli tahta ve tablet PC'lerde internet kısıtlamalarının olduğunu, cihaz içeriklerinin yetersiz olduğunu, etkileşimli tahta ve tablet PC'nin dersin işleyişini bozduğunu, tablet PC'lerin kalitesiz olduğunu ve sık arızalandığını, EBA web sitesinin yaşlarına uygun olmadığını, öğretmenlerinin teknoloji kullanımı konusunda eğitim almaları gerektiğini ve teknik desteğin zamanında yardımda bulunmadığını dile getirmişlerdir. Öğretmenler, FATİH projesinin eğitime katkı sağlamadığını, tablet PC'nin eğitim amaçlı kullanılmadığını bu yüzden gereksiz olduğunu, etkileşimli tahta ve tablet PC'lerdeki içeriklerin yetersiz olduğunu, EBA web sitesinin etkili bir biçimde kullanılmadığını ve teknoloji kullanımı konusunda hizmet içi eğitime ihtiyaç duyduklarını belirtmişlerdir. Bunun yanında öğretmenler, etkileşimli tahtanın derslerde verimli kullanıldığını ve etkileşimli tahtadan memnun olduklarını ifade etmişlerdir.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate FATİH project from the perspectives of students and teachers in high schools from Ankara. For this purpose, 5 pilot schools were selected. The sample of this study was consisted of 520 students and 65 teachers. Students' and teachers' opinions were obtained though a questionnaire including quantitative and qualitative sections. The findings showed that students thought FATİH project wouldn't contribute to the education, there were internet restrictions between interactive boards and tablet PCs, the contents of these devices were insufficient, the usage of interactive boards and tablet PCs limited the lessons, quality of tablet PCs was poor, and they crashed constantly, EBA website was not appropriate for their ages. They also stated that teachers needed educational training about the use of these technologies and technical service hadn't helped them with their problems on time. The teachers stated that FATİH project wouldn't contribute to the education, tablet PCs weren't used for educational purpose so they were unnecessary, the contents of interactive boards and tablet PCs were insufficient, EBA website weren't used in an effective way and they needed in-service training about the use of technology. Additionally, teachers stated that interactive boards were used efficiently in lessons so they were very satisfied with interactive board.
